New Year, New Content: SAGE Discipline Hubs
Over the course of 2019, SAGE has worked to develop a user-friendly Hub platform to display the breadth of our publishing across 17 of our key subject areas. The objective was to create a digital Hub to encourage our customers to find and explore new content across our journals, books, and digital products and services in one place, allowing you to view all of our offerings in a specific discipline.
We are incredibly excited to announce that each of our new Discipline Hubs are now live and free to browse here!
Spanning across subject areas such as Business & Management, Psychology & Counseling and Sociology, Gender Studies & Cultural Studies, our Discipline Hubs provide you with the most recent content across our subject areas to help you stay up-to-date with new developments in the field.
So, what else is in it for SAGE’s Authors?
SAGE has worked to ensure all Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices were implemented for each new Hub to drive web search indexing and aid discoverability within our SAGE Journals website. This allows researchers to more easily find the content that interests them.
Content displayed on the Hubs has also received post-launch promotion via digital marketing channels and exposure across multiple countries, institutions and societies. With these efforts, we are able to interest new and existing audiences, reach different markets, and engage with prospective researchers and authors.
Hurry up and show us the content!
So, what exactly is available to browse on our new Hubs? You now have the opportunity to scroll through the latest special issues in the discipline, as well as all new article publications that have been recognised as the most-recent top downloaded, top cited and/or most talked about papers across the discipline journal portfolio.
You can now also scroll our full list of journals by discipline, with links to each individual journal homepage:
For all you books fans out there, each of our Hubs contain a selection of our key books titles in the discipline, all of which are hyperlinked to their homepage should they wish to learn more:
Our Hubs also feature links to relevant third-party sites, announcements for other related SAGE products and live Twitter streams making it easy to follow the latest conversations in your field.
Happy 2020, Happy Browsing
Whether you’re a researcher, author or librarian, our new Hub platforms offer something for everyone, so please do check them out and start exploring!
